Thomas Arlie Huey was born in Gran Quivera, New Mexico on November 27, 1935 to Kenneth and Gertrude Huey. He graduated from Capitan High School and was drafted into the Army in 1958 during the Korean War. He passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 85. In 1960 he married Susan Ann Penix. They worked at the ranch until 1963. They started the Thomas A. Huey Mfg. Co. He was very proud of the business starting from nothing to building almost 400 custom built trailers along with steel sales and fabrication. His three sons, Ricky, Nicky and Micky became part of the company and continues to be a family business in Corona, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Micky. His brothers Jerry and Billy Huey and his sisters Delores McInnes and Glenda Perry. He is survived by his wife, Susan of 60 years and his sons Ricky and Nicky. Seven grandchildren and one great grandson. A Graveside Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Corona Cemetery in Corona, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Ricky Huey, Nicky Huey, Jordan Huey, Brandon Huey, Bryan Huey and Cameron Huey.
