T. Sharon Smith Rothberg

Sharon went to her Heavenly   Home on May 29, 2024.

Sharon was born Feb 10, 1954 in Athens , Tennessee.  The Family moved to California when she was 3 years old.

She was born the third of four daughters  to Curtis and Marie Smith of Palmdale , CA.  She is preceded in

death by her husband of 20 years,  Paul Rothberg, “the Love of her life” ;  her youngest sister Katherine, and both parents .

 She is survived by sister Evelyn of Wilcox , AZ  and sister Linda of San Diego,  CA.  She is also survived by 2 nephews, Brent and Russell of Quartz Hill, CA; and by step-daughter Dawn and stepson Paul II of Murrieta, CA

Sharon had a distinguished career as a Cytotechnologist which required a Bachelors degree.  She worked

most recently at Sandia Laboratory in Albuquerque;  prior to retiring.

Sharon will be remembered for her love of animals, especially dogs and donkeys.  She trained her Aussies to hand signals. She donated regularly to assist animals, and to Food Banks.  She also loved wind chimes and wind socks, and feeding the local birds.

Sharon had a very strong Faith in our Lord, and studied the Bible daily.

A graveside service is planned for June 11, 10:00 am at Mountain View Cemetery,  1343 Martinez Rd, Moriarty.
