Stephanie Payne passed away at age 59 from cancer on July 12th, 2024. She was a loving mother, aunt, friend, grandmother, and caregiver. She courageously battled her illness for the past two and a half years. Even though many were aware of her fight, her passing was still very unexpected and way too soon. She was loved by many ranging from her family and friends to her many patients/ clients that she has helped care for over the past twenty years. Stephanie was always laughing and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. She shared her light and positive outlook with everyone up until the very end. Even on her worst days she could be found outside cutting wood with her son, caring for her animals, or helping friends with their housework. She always helped anyone in need. She is survived by her loving husband Frank Payne, her three children Erik Gallegos, Mario Montoya, and Leilani Luna, her grandchildren Alex, Jonah, Mario Jr., Loretta, Katie (Pitty), Angelo, Anela, Rieley, Nessa, and Brayden, her siblings Donna Beckett and husband Steve, Vanessa Davis- Lucero and husband Martin, Denise Rodriguez and husband Jess, Tanya Gallegos and husband Fonso, and Damon Davis. She is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, adoptive children and many more loved ones. Stephanie can now rest in peace with her beloved mother Lori Davis and son Anthony Montoya. Stephanie did not wish to have any services.
