Sheila was a devoted wife to Neil Allen Swain, whom she married on her birthday in 1976, forming a partnership characterized by mutual love and unwavering support.
Throughout her life, Sheila embodied the spirit of compassion and dedication. As a loving mother, she poured her heart into nurturing her two children, Kelly Brianne (Swain) Robertson and Nathan Rhodes Swain. She was not only an exceptional parent but also a beloved ZiZi to her five granddaughters: Lily Robertson, Claire Swain, Alex Robertson, Olivia Swain, and Sydney Swain, all of whom brought boundless joy to her life.
Sheila was known for her powerful Christian influence, sharing her faith and values with everyone around her. In her professional life, she served as a dedicated school child counselor, impacting the lives of countless students with her nurturing spirit and guidance.
Her memory will be honored during a memorial service held at Edgewood Church of Christ in Edgewood, New Mexico, on March 15, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. Friends and family will gather to celebrate the profound and lasting impact she had on their lives, drawing comfort from the enduring love she gave so freely.
