Shawn Matthew Berryhill

Shawn Matthew Berryhill, age 45, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2022. Shawn was born October 3, 1976 to Danny Jr and Carol (Knight) Berryhill in Albuquerque, NM. Shawn was a very talented man and could fashion anything needed to get a job done. He was a hard worker and even in pain would go and help someone who needed him, which he was always happy to do. Shawn would give you the shirt off his back or his last dime , if needed. He enjoyed building things and working with his hands. Shawn looked forward to going boating and fishing at the lake and last year even enjoyed a new sport, kayaking. Shawn was a New Orleans Saints fan and didn't care for the Dallas Cowboys, which Lesley's family were fans of. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Berryhill Jr. He is survived by his spouse, Lesley Saline, sons Ryan Berryhill and Matthew Berryhill, his mother, Carol Berryhill, his brother Troy Berryhill and many loving family members and friends. He will be missed greatly and left an empty spot in each of our lives. His family meant everything to him and he loved them dearly. Funeral services are as follows; a Viewing will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty. Funeral will be held Saturday September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Conchas Baptist Church in Conchas Dam, NM. There will be a Viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be Abran Frost Apodaca, Ryan Berryhill, Brady Berryhill, James Trujillo, Merlin Mercer, and Edwin C. Deets. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Berryhill, Troy Berryhill and Allison Berryhill. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
