Ruth Helen Gallegos

Ruth Helen Gallegos passed away suddenly on October 24, 2023. She was born January 31, 1955, to Ramon and Beatrice Valdez in Estancia New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Gallegos Sr. She is survived by her children Daphne Jones, Geneva Gallegos-Martinez (Max), Benjamin Gallegos Jr. (Sheena), Tanya Gallegos (Daniel Lujan), grandchildren Daniel Gallegos, Demetria and Michael Jones, Kayla Rodriguez, Sofia Lujan, Amaris, Kylee and Ben Gallegos, step-grandchildren Sean and Ella O’Leary and Hannah Seay, great-grandchildren Dezlynn, Izabel and Daniel Gallegos. Helen loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. She had a love for yard sales and could be found in some of her favorite spots in the East Mountains “selling”. In Mountainair she was affectionately known as the “yard sale lady” and enjoyed sharing this past time with her daughter and granddaughters. Helen had a giving soul, was easy to talk to and could always make you laugh. She touched many hearts and will be greatly missed and never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at The Estancia Valley Calvary Chapel McIntosh New Mexico. "2 Saline Pump Rd Moriarty,New Mexico 87035."
