Rudy Mora Sandoval

Rudy M Sandoval, 85, passed away on September 10, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1938 in Galisteo, New Mexico to the late Frank Sr. and Lucia (Mora) Sandoval. He married his wife Cecilia Baca on August 29, 1959. Rudy was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of the St. Joseph Society in Galisteo, NM. He is preceded in death by his son Manuel Sandoval, brothers, Bennie Sandoval, Fidel Sandoval, Anastacio Sandoval, Frank Sandoval and sister Mary Lou Baca. Rudy is survived by his beloved wife, Cecilia Sandoval of Stanley, NM; sons, Danny (Yvette) Sandoval of Santa Fe, NM, Thomas (Katie) Sandoval of Houston, TX; daughter, Martha (Greg) Smith of Stanley, NM; brothers, George Sandoval, Joe Sandoval and Fred Sandoval and sisters, Connie Valencia, Pilar Anaya, Joanne Rodgers, Gloria Durham, and Stella Maestas. Rudy was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, September 20, 2023. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. with the Celebration of Mass to follow at 11:00 A.M. at the Nuestra Senora De Los Remedios Catholic Church in Galisteo, New Mexico. Father Adrian Sisneros to Officiate. Pallbearers are Domonic Sandoval, Shandra Marez, Megan Gastelum and Mark Sandoval.
