Rosendo Lujan

Rosendo Lujan, 80, passed away on May 30, 2019. He was born on February 19, 1939 in Torreon, New Mexico to the late Patrocinio and Teresita (Chavez) Lujan. Rosendo was a lifetime resident of Torreon, a former Sheriff’s Deputy for the Torrance County Sheriff’s office and a member of the Sheriff’s Posse. Rosendo is also preceded in death by his son, Anthony Lujan and brother, David Lujan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Selina V. Lujan of Torreon, NM; son, Matthew R. Lujan and wife Peggy Jean of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Roxanne K. Burchell and husband Raymond J. of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Tony Lujan and wife Theresa, Felip Lujan, Pat Lujan and wife Nedda, Hilario Lujan and Carlos Lujan and sisters, Clarinda Roybal, Theresa Perea and Cecilia Baca. Rosendo was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Shelby, TaylorRae, LeahMarie and McKayla. A Funeral Service will be held at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Torreon, NM. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. The Celebration of Mass will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lujan, Roxanne Burchell, Shelby Lynne Lujan, TaylorRae Abigail Burchell, LeahMarie Kathleen Burchell and McKayla Renae Lujan. Burial will be at the Torreon Cemetery in Torreon, NM.
