"Beautiful, loving, selfless, God loving, multi-talented are only a few of the many wonderful characteristics that describe Rosa "Rosie" Aguilar Arambula. Proud Mama to 4 children, Grandma to 6 grandchildren, and Nani to 5 great grandchildren, she worked tirelessly to take care of all of them, even in her last days. Widow to Agustin "Auggie" Nevarez Arambula, lovingly married for 57 years. Rosie was the only survivor of a family of 5 who all died of Tuberculosis by the time she was 5 years old. She was a Cosmetologist for 30 years and worked at the same beauty shop all this time. She also cut hair on the side. Rosie was raised by her namesake, Tia Rosa, and helped to raise her cousins who became her sisters. In her life she mastered painting, cooking, writing, crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting, singing, cake making, baking, ceramics, and doll making. She also read everything she could get her hands on. Rosie was born in Glendale, AZ, moved to Los Angeles, CA when she was 6, raised her children in Pico Rivera, CA, retired to Phelan, CA, then moved to her final home in Edgewood, NM. She touched many people's lives and hearts. She will be truly missed by her family and all that knew her. She will live in her family's hearts forever. "
