Ronald Joseph Thul (87) passed away at his home in Edgewood on July 18, 2022. Ron was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1935. He and his wife, Carol, moved to the East Mountains in 1980, and were married shortly after. Him and Carol owned a construction business operating in Edgewood and surrounding areas for over 30 years. Ron served in the United States Navy after high school. He enjoyed his work, and had his mason hand in many projects in the area, including but not limited to the Santa Fe Prison, and many historic Churches in the area. Ron enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his loved ones. Ron was never short on a joke or a healthy supply of wisdom. He will be dearly missed by his family. Ronnie is survived by his three daughters: Stevie Rae Thul, Shelly Clay, and Karen Clay, his three sisters and their husbands, Glayds (Ron) Collins, Sandra (Alan) Wiemers, Linda (Dean) Long, and sister-in-law Betty Thul. He was proceeded in death by: his loving wife Carol, parents Harold and Alvina (Becker) Thul, brother Robert and Jean (Monson) Thul, brother Roger and Norma Jean (Reding) Thul. Services for Ron will be held on September 23rd, 2022 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30pm
