Robert Russell Phillips

Robert Russell Phillips, 73, a resident of Moriarty, NM, passed away June 21, 2021 in Moriarty, NM. He was born December 17, 1947 to Allen E. and Emily (Morgan) Phillips in Brawley, California. Robert is preceded in death by his parents. Robert married Anna Maria Sanchez April 1, 1978 in California, she survives him of their home in Moriarty, NM. Other survivors include two sons, Raymond Phillips and his wife Darla, of McIntosh, NM, and Joseph Phillips of Buckeye, AZ; one daughter, Ella A. Phillips of Moriarty, NM; one adopted daughter Amber Friend and her husband Cody of Prather, CA; one sister, Joyce Pluard; and seven grandchildren, Coy, Raylan, Hadley, Ryan, Logan, Wyatt, and Chelsie. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
