Robert Eugene "Gene" Jarvis

Obituary Robert Eugene “Gene” Jarvis, 74, a longtime resident of Ruidoso, NM, passed away February 8, 2023 in Nogal, NM. Gene was born in Lane, OK May 3, 1948 to Joe Harold and Pauline (Adams) Jarvis. Gene is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Joe Wesley “Butch” Jarvis. Gene will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His hunting & fishing stories are endless and their all true…. Gene was a truck driver for over 50 years and made many friends along the way. He never met a stranger and was never short of words, he could talk to anyone. Gene is survived by; wife of 39 years Connie (Preston) Jarvis of Ruidoso, NM; one son, Wesley Jarvis and his companion Charlotte of Lucedale, MS; one daughter Tracy Jarvis and her companion Colin Cannon of Nogal, NM; one sister Virginia “Jenny” Jarvis; three grandchildren, Delaney, Sy and TJ; Two great grandchildren Liberty and Evelyn and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Reception service will be held Saturday February 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Angus School House in Angus, NM; Building just past cemetery, 105 Angus Rd, Alto, NM 88316.
