Richard Scott Sr.

Richard Scott, born November 23, 1931, passed away in Stanley, NM, on May 7, 2020, at the home of his son, Rick Scott, and surrounded by family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many. Richard was proud to serve his country in the Korean War as a paratrooper with the 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment (Rakkasans). He always had a smile, a song and many colorful stories to tell about his wild and crazy life. He will be missed dearly and always loved. Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and will be laid to rest by her side in his home town, Brooklyn, NY. No services have been scheduled at this time.
