Reverend David Lynn Royer

David Lynn Royer, born October 2,1946 in Fresno Ca, was the fifth child of Loran and Mearle (Rackley) Royer. His siblings being: Arlon, Barbara, Glenora and Robert. He grew up in Fresno County, with a period of time spent in Stockton, Ca and Woodland, Ca. He was a graduate of Woodland High School. In 1969 he graduated from Western Apostolic Bible College, now known as Christian Life College, Stockton Ca. He married Kaye Christian on July 7, 1967 and they joyfully celebrated 55 years of marriage. Two sons: Neil Scott and Todd Joseph were added. Together the family pastored in McFarland, Ca, (1972-1974)) and in Auburn Ca. 35 years. (1974-2007). While in Auburn he developed David L. Royer Concrete and was bi-vocational until retirement. Five grandchildren were his treasure: Madison and Micah (Neil and Lisa) Jacqueline, Christian and Raymond (Todd and Kristina) He moved to Alamogordo, NM in 2009 spending four years in retirement; but in 2013 he responded to the Call of God and came to Edgewood/Moriarty, NM to plant a church. He pastored MY church, Upon This ROCK…Jesus until his passing May, 23, 2023. He was actively involved in the East Mountains Ministerial Association. You can ‘sum up’ his life as passionately praying and believing in revival. He dedicated his life to the message of Jesus Christ. May 23, 2023 David departed this life and began eternal life with Jesus Christ, His Saviour! “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the LORD.”
