Raymond Frank Erck

Raymond F. Erck, 85, passed away in his home in Los Lunas, New Mexico on August 10, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1934 in Esmond, North Dakota to the late Joseph and Regarda (Krenzel) Erck. Raymond served his country proud in the United States Army. After his discharge from the Army he worked for the Burlington North Railroad for nearly 26 years. He enjoyed family, funny jokes, and old western movies. Raymond will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar, Nick, Edward and Don and sisters, Edith Haberstrah, Rose Decker, Darlene Swank, Alice Olson and Jayne Burkhart. Raymond is survived by his daughter, Tamia Hamilton Somerset and husband Ron of WI; grandchildren, Shane Hamilton Sumerset, Danny Hamilton Somerset and Samantha Hamilton Somerset all of WI; brother, Leo Erck and wife Judy of SD; sister, Beatta Gasparre of ND as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Private Family Burial will take place on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Sean McCloskey, Brian McCloskey, Dale McCloskey, Matthew Smith, Christopher Smith and Zachary Fuller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Hamilton, Shane Hamilton and Danny Hamilton.
