Rafaela Reyes de Perez

It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of Rafaela Reyes de Perez on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born in San Juan, Zacatecas on October 24, 1934, and most recently resided in Edgewood, New Mexico with her daughter Julia where they would cook together and go shopping. 

Rafaela lived a long life alongside her husband Felix Perez and was loved by their five kids: Amalia, Carlos, Teresa, Julia, and, Felix. Her memory lives on in them, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren who she loved telling stories to about her past and living in Mexico. She always kept busy by doing a word search and eating her snacks. While living in San Diego she enjoyed going to the zoo, walking on the beach, and shopping. As a devoted catholic she also enjoyed praying her rosary. 

Rafaela will be dearly missed by her entire family and many friends. She leaves behind many great stories and memories that will live on for years to come.
