Prescilla Quintana Obituary On April 17th, 2022, on Easter Sunday, at the age of 86, Prescilla Romero Quintana went to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her family with love. Prescilla was born on September 4th, 1935, in Manzano, New Mexico to Jose and Lola Romero. She is preceded in death by her sons, Albert, and Celso Quintana; granddaughter, Consuelo Quintana; and great-grandson John Quintana. She is survived by her brother Manuel Romero; daughters, Ramona Quintana, Susan Garcia; grandchildren, Patricia Padilla, Elizabeth Lopez, Celso Garcia, Joseph Quintana, Gualterio Quintana, and April Quintana. Prescilla was a devout member of St. Alice Catholic Church. She was the Director of Religious Education, a lifetime member of St. Vincent de Paul, the Alter Society, and the Choir. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and caring for her family. She had 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, with 3 more on the way. We will cherish the memory of her homemade jelly and carne seca. She devoted her life to raising many family members. There will be a Rosary on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10:00 AM with the Mass to follow at 10:30 AM all at the St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. Burial will follow at the Manzano Compo Santo Cemetery in Manzano, NM. Pallbearers are Alieza Chavez, Gualterio Quintana, Romeo Quintana, Luke Lopez, Adrian Lopez, and Lee Anne Padilla. Honorary Pallbearers are Vincent Quintana and Issiah Lopez. Funeral arraignments entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM
