Polo Chavez

Polo Chavez July 5th 1949-December 4th 2021 Polo Chavez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 4th 2021 after a lengthly illness. Polo was born July 5th 1949 in Galisteo, New Mexico to Anastacio and Emma (Valdez) Chavez. His is predeced in death by his parents, paternal grandparents; Manuel Chavez Y Sondoval and Teodorita (Larranaga) Chavez, his maternal grandparents; Reymundo and Genoveva Valdez, his daughter Janette, sister Lenora Dillon, and brothers Jerry and Henry Chavez. His survivors include his three sons; Anthony Paul of Florida, Gary of Michigan, and Bailey of Arkansas, six grandchildren, brother Sonny (Teri) Chavez of Clovis NM, sister Lisa (Jim) Anderson of Boise Idaho, three aunts; Florinda and Celina Encinias of Moriarty NM, and Alvera Bailey of Albuquerque NM, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rosary will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 15th 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty followed by memorial Mass with Father Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will be at the Galisteo cemetary as per Paul's wishes. Honory pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
