Philip Pagnard December 1, 1968-December 16, 2021 Philip Pagnard, 53, of Cedar Crest New Mexico, passed away at his home in Cedar Crest. He was born on December 1, 1968 to his parents, Colleen and Leonard Pagnard in Rochester, NY. “Phil” as we liked to call him, was a blacksmith at heart and hobby. He wielded swords, knives, chain mail and other Renaissance Festival type pieces. He was an enthusiast of the Ren Fest and found fascination with the artistic metal work of that time. Phil also had an affinity for collecting things like arcade games, cookbooks and vintage items, like his first boombox, that brought back good memories from his childhood. As a career he found interest and talent in the computer and technology industry as a software development engineer. Philip is survived by his mother, Colleen Whitman of McDonough, Georgia; his children, Alex Pagnard and his step daughter, Luna Feliciano; his brother, Leonard Pagnard, of Jefferson, Ga; His sister Christine Busch & her husband Daniel Busch of Glendale, Arizona, his sister Elizabeth Glass and her husband Jonathan of Marietta, Georgia; his very dear friend, Karla Merino. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Pagnard and his grandparents. He was also loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services are as follows: Harris-Hanlon Funeral Home of Moriarty, NM Wednesday January 12, 2022. Viewing at 1:00 pm, service at 2:00 pm and burial service to follow at Mountainview Cemetery of Moriarty. Some of us will honor Phil’s interest in the Ren Fest by wearing Renaissance attire.
