Pauline Padilla Romero

Pauline Padilla Romero, 81, passed away on April 8, 2018 in her home in Estancia, New Mexico. She was born on May 25, 1936 in Willard, NM to the late Max and Lou (Salas) Padilla. On August 16, 1958 she married the love of her life, William Romero in Mountainair, NM. Pauline will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Max Padilla; sister, MaryLou Saenz; son, Willie Lee Romero; daughter, Rosie Stokan and grandson, Rocky Romero Guzman. Pauline is survived by her beloved husband, William Romero; siblings, Frances Scalise and husband Frank, Cecilia Sanchez and Stella Williams; children, Marcella Lasher and husband Michael, Ida Reynolds and husband Ronnie, William Romero and wife Colleen, Katherine Snead and husband Derek and Anita and Travis Burns; grandchildren, Ocello Morales, Stephanie Reynolds, Ronald Reynolds and Anna Marie Griego, Anthony and Carisima Reynolds, Jeffrey Gore, Hannah Snead, Isabelle Snead, Briana Burns, Matthew Burns, Leedro Romero and Natalie Dominguez,  Amanda Wallace and Dedra Wallace; great- grandchildren, Alyssa Baca, Brodee Reynolds, Easton Reynolds, DeeAndre Reynolds, Justen Gore and Alysha Archuleta, Shelby Gore, Jessica Gore, Natalia Romero, Andres Romero, Isabella Rodriguez, Avery Rodriguez and Kylie Beber and great-great-grandchildren, Avah Gore and Kaleigh Gore. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. The Celebration of Mass will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Father Lancaster will Officiate. Pallbearers will be Ocello Morales, Leedro Romero, Ronald Reynolds, Anthony Reynolds, Justen Gore and Matthew Burns. Interment will follow at the Estancia Catholic Cemetery in Estancia, NM.
