Paul Anthony Tafoya November 23, 1967 - May 14, 2024 Paul Anthony Tafoya was preceded in death by his great nephew Traven Meeker, grandmother Ana Tafoya-Peralta, daughter Shayla Tafoya, Mother Fabiola Amezquita, and sister Barbara Romero. He is survived by his girlfriend Amy Powell, daughter Felecia Tafoya (Kenny Aguilar), son Joshua Tafoya (Simone Tafoya), dear friend and mother of his children Saunja Gelvin (Richard Gelvin), dad Ralph Tafoya (Susan Miller), brother Cliff Tafoya (LaJean Tafoya), stepbrothers Gowah Kettle (Maria Kettle), Ablaeza Miller, niece LaFraya Meeker, nephews Nicolas Romero (Samantha Medina), Marcelino Romero, great nephews Jaden Meeker, Taren Meeker, his cherished grandbabies Nailanni and Nicco Chee, and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Paul Anthony Tafoya was a proud, born and raised, resident of Mountainair, New Mexico. He graduated from Mountainair High School in 1985. He was a great boyfriend, son, father, uncle, Tata, Grand-P, and friend. Those who knew Paul, knew how much he liked to joke around, how much he loved food, family, travelling, and his Green Bay Packers. Although, he suffered for many years, we know he is now at peace. This is a devastating loss that will be felt by many. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
