Pablo Pacheco Zamora

In loving memory of Pablo P. Zamora, 72, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who peacefully went home to be with Jesus on December 17th at the age of 72 at UNM Hospital. In his final moments, Pablo was surrounded by love, with his two youngest daughters, his wife, and his son-in-law by his side. Pablo is survived by his loving Wife, Diane Zamora, Daughters: Stephanie Chavez (Husband Jacob), Jennifer Roybal (Husband Jesus), Yvette Zamora, and Bernadette Kerkhoff, Grandchildren: Benjamin, Briella, Brian, Luke, Jacob, Gavin, Hunter and Jase, one brother: Ronnie Zamora and several nieces and nephews. Pablo dedicated many years of his life to serving the community, retiring from the City of Albuquerque after contributing as a dedicated dietician at the ABQ Biopark Zoo. Beyond his professional achievements, Pablo's true passions were deeply rooted in his love for music, particularly the guitar. He found solace in the gentle strumming of strings and shared this joy with those around him. Beyond his love for playing the guitar, Pablo had an enduring passion for music and was a dedicated fan of Carlos Santana. Music was a big part of Pablo’s life. It brought back old memories and helped him make new ones too. One of his greatest delights was dancing with his grandchildren creating precious memories that were filled with love and laughter. Pablo also cherished moments spent fishing, loved vacationing with his family, and took immense joy in watching his four youngest grandchildren daily. His unique and heartwarming tradition of taking them for rides on his lawn mower around the yard became a cherished routine, creating countless smiles and memories that will forever linger in the hearts of his loved ones. Pablo found joy in attending church services alongside his beloved wife Diane and they shared a passion for delighting and often frequenting their favorite restaurants after services where they created cherished memories over shared meals. His warm spirit, love, and unwavering commitment to family will be remembered fondly. Pablo's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. May he find eternal peace in heaven. Services for Pablo Zamora will be on January 4, 2024 at Calvary Chapel, Albuquerque at 11:00AM. The reception will immediately follow the service.
