Nestor Porraz Tarin

Nestor Porraz Tarin, 76, a lifetime resident of New Mexico and Texas, passed away April 18, 2021, in Moriarty, NM. Nestor was born May 22, 1944 in Presidio, TX, to Abel and Isidora (Porraz) Tarin. He is preceded by his parents and one sister, Aramita Payne. Nestor was a man devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife Linda Tarin of Fresno, TX; one son Bryan Tarin and his wife Christina Werthe of Encinitas, CA; three daughters, Nicole Sigala and her husband Tony of Moriarty, NM, Rochelle Tarin of Columbus, OH, and Chantel Tarin Scrase and her husband David of Placitas, NM; one brother Abel Tarin; one sister Mary Camerana; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Those that know Nestor will remember his love of history, his passion for business, and his pride for Spanish heritage. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
