Morgan Andrew Murraine, 23, met the eyes of Jesus on June 17, 2018. He was born on June 1, 1995 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Morgan was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and attended Moriarty High School. He loved music, playing the guitar and loved being in the outdoors. Morgan was a kind hearted soul who was always outgoing and extremely courageous. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. Morgan will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Alene Mitchell; great grandfather, James W. Mitchell and grandparents, Lenard E. Murraine II and Janice Murraine. Morgan is survived and will forever be remembered by his father, Lenard E. Murraine III of South Dakota; mother and step-father, Dorothy and Martin Rivera of Moriarty, NM; grandparents, Robert and Gloria Jordan of Ruidoso, NM; brothers, Thomas Murraine, Tyler Southard and Jonathon Rivera all of Moriarty, NM and Gillan Murraine of South Dakota,  and sisters, Sarah Logan and husband Adam of Hobbs, NM, Hailey Southard of Moriarty, NM and Lenorah Murraine of South Dakota as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, New Mexico. A Graveside Service will follow at Gavilan Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 4:00 P.M. in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Thomas Murraine, Arthur Foust, Denny Foust, James Grant, Tyler Southard and Jonathon Rivera. Honorary Pallbearers will Warren Remmey and Thomas J. Duran . Arrangements were entrusted to Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico.
