He was a proud Marine who joined in March 1956-March 1962. He taught himself how to play guitar and enjoyed playing and singing to anyone willing to listen. He was a carpenter who enjoyed building and making many things. He and Mom loved family gatherings and enjoyed celebrations, camping, bowling, socializing, singing, and having a fun time with friends and family. Where many fun memories were made drinking, singing, and dancing the night away! He enjoyed dancing with Mom, and she never tired of it. We are hoping that they are now dancing together in Heaven. Dad loved riding his 82 Shovelhead Harley and enjoyed attending bike rallies. He was a devout Catholic who believed in prayer and attending Church. Memories of him will be the many times we visited Grandma and Grandpa in Mountainair and spent time with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Other memories were fun times camping and visiting many monuments in NM, CO, and AZ. He was remarkably close to Mom’s family and the time spent with them was also a treasure to remember as we became close to our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins making many memories. Dad also enjoyed hunting and instructed the boys on how to hunt. Those memories filled our hearts.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported us through this challenging time. We are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who took their time to visit, pray, bring food, drink, and support to us now and during his passing. We are also grateful and thankful to the staff at Roadrunner Hospice for all the support they provided to us as he proceeded to his last days before entering his eternal life.
