Micah Zechariah Perea

Micah Zechariah Perea, age 16, a quiet young man who was a beloved son, grandson, cousin, friend, and student from Estancia New Mexico, passed away suddenly on the afternoon of September 13th, 2024, alongside his mother after an accidental car collision. Micah was born on September 14th, 2007, in Albuquerque New Mexico to parents Nastassia Dawn Chavez and Adam Martin Perea. Micah went to school at Estancia Municipal Schools and was a Junior, still having so much to learn and so much to experience in his life. When Micah was born he was very small and struggled a little but no matter what he was a little fighter. Micah was always infatuated with tools, cars, robots, and more. He was so smart and curious about everything as a child, but his favorite thing was Legos. He would build so many things with them and each build became more intricate and detailed. Micah also started to watch anime after his sister introduced him to it, his favorite animes being One Piece, Fairy Tail, etc. and his favorite shows being Supernatural and Sunny in Philadelphia which he quoted lines from constantly. His hobbies were art, gaming with friends, and welding, he always had to be busy with something. No matter what Micah never let anything stop him. He may have been quiet but once he got talking he wouldn’t stop, he made good friends who stuck close to him and treated him kindly even if they messed with each other here and there. And most of all he was as goofy and loving as his mother. Everybody around Micah was proud of him and everything he did. Micah now rests in Heaven with his mother Nastassia. Micah is survived by his Father Adam, Stepmother Sherry, Sister Emma, Maternal Grandparents Leslie and Jerry Chavez, Paternal Grandparents Christine and Bobby Perea, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Family, Friends, Team, and The Loving Estancia Community.
