Mary Elizabeth Martinez

Mary Elizabeth (Thomas) Martinez, age 76 years, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on November 28, 2022 in Oklahoma City. She was born to parents, Wilmoth and George N. Thomas of Moriarty, NM. She graduated from high school in Moriarty, NM and following graduation she studied and became a certified hair stylist. She lived in Moriarty, NM, Albuquerque, NM, and Laurinburg, NC before moving to Oklahoma City., On February 20, 1991 [32 years] she and Andrew (Andy) Martinez were married here in Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her husband, Andy Martinez, 2 stepsons, a stepdaughter, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 nieces, Frankye Flemins was more like a mother, plus numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, George Thomas, Jr., and niece, Donna Thomas. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Moriarty, NM. Local arrangements are being handled by the Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany, OK.
