Martin John Encinias, 58, met the eyes of Jesus on January 6, 2019 in Los Lunas, New Mexico. He was born on July 27, 1960 in Mountainair, New Mexico. He was a father of three, Papaw of 4 1/2. A good husband to Lisa Encinias for 38 years! As a young boy under Monroe Parkers wing he learned how to be a cowboy. He roped and rode every day from then on out. He trained horses and taught many people how to rope and ride. His life was filled with love and grace. He was a hardworking man and always made sure everyone was taken care of. Martin never met a stranger he didn’t love with his whole heart. Rodeo horses, cattle and his family were his world. He had a sixth sense, he was “One” with his horses and cattle. He will be missed but gets to do what he loves and be our angel forever and ever. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Martin is preceded in death by his father, Segundo Encinias; sister, Clorinda Lopez; brothers, Lee Encinias, Amos Encinias, Pete Encinias and Frank Encinias; mentors, Monroe and Laura Parker; nephew, Michael Ray Encinias and his horse Jiggs. Martin is survived by his mother, Florenda Encinias of Moriarty, NM; beloved wife, Lisa Encinias of Belen, NM; in-laws, Charlie and Sue Hughes; sons, Kyle Encinias and wife Ness of Jarales, NM and Charlie Encinias and wife Randa of Corona, NM; daughter, Kendra Otis and husband Andy of Estancia, NM; brothers, Raymond Encinias and wife Carmen, Speedy Encinias and wife Karen and Adan Encinias and wife Dollie; brother in-law, Mike Hughes and wife Lisa; sister in-law, Lucille Encinias; sisters, Henrietta Garcia and husband Joe, Erma Gonzales, Lucy Orio and husband Anthony, Elena Irvin and husband Larry, Juana Pachta and husband Jim, Tommie Encinias and Debbie Harris and husband Peter; dog, Pancho and his horse, Paint, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Martin was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Payton Otis, Lyndi Otis, Andy Otis and Roe Encinias. A Rosary is scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stanley Cyclone Center in Stanley, NM. Burial of Cremains will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Corona Cemetery in Corona, NM.
