Markie Zamora Archuleta

Markie Zamora Archuleta, 75, a lifetime resident of Mountainair, NM, passed away Wednesday October 12, 2022, at his home in Mountainair, NM. Markie was born January 9, 1947 to Tranquelino Jose and Estella Marie (Zamora) Archuleta in Mountainair, NM. Markie married Pamela (Felts) on June 30, 1968 in Mountainair, NM, she has preceded him in death. Markie was a Heavy Equipment operator for the New Mexico State Hwy Department. Markie is also preceded in death by his parents; one brother Joe Archuleta, and one sister in law Viola Archuleta. Markie is survived by one son, Adam Archuleta and his wife Crystal; two daughters Jennifer Sheppard and her husband Byron, and Kimberly Cadotte and her husband Clarence; three brothers, Juan Archuleta and his wife Michell, Sammy Archuleta, and Leroy Archuleta; one sister, Dubi Lindsey and her husband Norman; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be as follows; viewing Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am follow by the funeral service at 11:00 am both at Mountainair Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Adam Archuleta, Juan Archuleta, Sammy Archuleta, Leroy Archuleta, Toby Archuleta, Matthew Martinez, Uziah Sheppard, and Nathaniel Archuleta. Honorary Pallbearers will be Emmanuel Sheppard, Marqueese Sheppard, Christianna Archuleta, Christella Archuleta, Christalynn Archuleta, Shelby Archuleta, Tiffani Archuleta, Unikque Caddott, Harmony Hick and Geneva Sheppard. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary.
