Marjorie Helen Novel

Marjorie Helen Novel, 92, passed away on August 28, 2021 in Edgewood, New Mexico. She was born on October 28, 1928 in Litchfield, Illinois to the late Joseph Hines and Agness Gleich. Marjorie has lived in New Mexico for the past 24 years and was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Parish in Tijeras, New Mexico. She had a good Irish Sense of Humor and loved spending time volunteering at her parish. In her free time she loved to read, play solitaire and do crosswords. Her dog Freddie was her best friend and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is also preceded in death by her husband Stephen of 62 years, her son James Novel; son in law, Gerald Kline; brother, Robert Hines; sisters, Isabel McKown and Bernice Shepard and grandson, Jason Crutcher. Marjorie is survived by her son, Stephen Novel and wife Pam and daughters, Nancy Kline and Amy Smith and husband Andrew. Marjorie was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild and 1 more great-great grandchild on the way. The family would also like to give special thanks to a very special hospice nurse Renata. In the family’s time of need she was a ray of sunshine that was greatly needed. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday September 3rd, 2021 at 10:00am at the Holy Child Catholic Parish in Tijeras, New Mexico.
