Manuel Urban

“Manuel Urban Sr., 80, of Tajique, New Mexico, gained his Angel Wings on December 18, 2021, surrounded by his beloved wife and family.” Manuel Urban Sr. was born on October 31, 1941 in Algodones, New Mexico, to John Hill Urban and Maria Segura Urban. He married Rosie, the love of his life for 62 years. Manuel was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of so many. He was a humble man of respect, pride, and a gentle heart. He was a man of his word, a good husband, a supportive father, a loving grandpa, son, brother, and friend. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. Manuel, enjoyed the outdoors he loved to hunt, fish and spend quality time at his ranch and with his beloved family. Anyone that that truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents; John Hill Urban and Maria Segura Urban; grandson Martin Urban; brothers Jim Urban, Humphrey Urban, and Martin Urban Sr.; sisters Juanita Valenzuela, and Nina Urban. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Rosie Urban, his two sons Manuel Urban Jr., Matthew Urban wife (Marie); grandchildren Meranda Urban (Ruayan), Marko Urban (Cherie), Melissa Urban, Ashley Acosta (Ernesto), Veronica Urban (Gage), Matthew Urban Jr.; great grandkids Dillion Urban, Xavier Jaramillo, Mariza Montes, Marisol Montes, Talaya Urban, Carina Acosta, Manuel Acosta, Isaiha Acosta, Amaya Urban; and great great grand baby Alessandra Tapia; brother Oliver Leyba; sister Josie Quintanilla; nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial services for Manuel Urban Sr. will be held on December 30, 2021. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountainair Christian Center in Mountainair, New Mexico 203 W Broadway, Mountainair, New Mexico 87036. Burial will follow at the Urbans Family Cemetery at the Urban Ranch. Family and friends are welcome to attend in gratitude from the Urban family a meal at the Tajique Community Center following the burial. Pallbearers are Marko Urban, Matthew Urban Jr, Dillion Urban, Xavier Jaramillo, Martin Urban Jr., Pete Vigil.
