Maclovio Zamora

Maclovio Zamora (77) went home to be with the Lord on May 18th, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born January 24th, 1947, to Federico Zamora and Adela Romero-Zamora in Manzano, New Mexico. Maclovio was predeceased by his siblings Benny, Florenio, Severa, Eluteria, and Dulcenao. He is survived by his sister Mary Zamora. Maclovio had a passion for music. He sang, played guitar and the harmonica for mass every Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows, Catholic Church in Manzano. He would also be asked to share his talent at weddings and funerals along with his wife Gloria Zamora. She also sang and played guitar. Maclovio was genuine, lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He was a free-spirited and kind man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed classic cars, going for rides on his Harley and spending time with his wife, who he loved dearly. Maclovio and Gloria were married for 57 years. They were married on August 14th, 1967. They moved to Utah where they lived five years. They then moved back to Mountainair/Manzano where they raised their family. Maclovio is survived by his wife Gloria Zamora, his son, Dion and his wife Misty their children, Micthell, Zachary, Brooke and husband Jonathan and their son Lorenzo. His daughter, Charmaine and husband Steve, her son Ezra and wife Jervay and daughter Marley, and Charmaine’s daughter Tera and her daughter Aria. His daughter Zita and husband Henry, their sons Larz and Zealand and daughter Heaven and her children Miguel, Zaidyen and Halo. His son Juaquin and wife Jaclyn and their daughter Natalie and son Kenneth. Maclovio is also survived by many nieces, nephews, Godsons, Goddaughters and many living cousins. Funeral services are as follows; A Rosary will be recited Friday June 7, 2024 at 7:00pm; A Mass will be celebrated Saturday June 8, 2024 at 11:00 am both at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano, NM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
