Luis Manuel Dominguez

Born March 14, 1959, in Guerrero, Chihuahua to Oscar and Atocha Dominguez, Luis was the eldest of 10 children. From a young age, his hardworking and family-oriented nature was evident as he spent his early years in his parents pastures, working with cattle and becoming a jack of all trades. When he first came to the United States, life was not easy for him, but his resilience and determination to make a home and build a family in a new country kept him going. Luis was a gentle and kind natured man and was admired and respected by all who knew him. He loved to reminisce about the many adventures he’d had on his journey and enjoyed talking and laughing with the people he met along the way. His time on earth wasn’t nearly long enough and he will be dearly missed and constantly remembered by so many. Luis always made his family his priority and his beautiful legacy of goodness, love and strength will be carried on by his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He was so dearly loved and will forever be in the hearts and thoughts of those left behind, and as his new journey begins, we look to the day that we can hear his voice and smile with him once again. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, and he restores my soul. He guides me along the right path for His name’s sake.” Psalms 23:2-3 Luis is survived by his parents, Oscar Dominguez and Atocha Apodaca-Dominguez; his siblings and their spouses, Mario and Patricia Dominguez, Ana and Daniel Mora, Oscar and Alma Dominguez, Jose and Armida Dominguez, Maria De La Luz Dominguez, Martin Dominguez, Lorena and Felix Amaro, Jesus and Esmeralda Dominguez and Nataly Dominguez; his wife, Patricia M. Dominguez; his children and their spouses, Luis Enrique and Rene Dominguez, David and Lindsey Dominguez, Jesus Dominguez, Diego and Jordin Dominguez, Solidad P. Dominguez, Margaret and Armando Garza, April Mendez- Harvey; his grandchildren, Giselle, Reagan, Isael, and Georgia Dominguez, Rubi Dominguez, Aaliyah, Alia, and Itzel Dominguez, Jazmine Dominguez, Alma, Ariel, and Giovanni Garza. Luis Nació el 14 de marzo de 1959 en Guerrero, Chihuahua, hijo de Oscar y Atocha, el mayor de 10 hijos. Desde joven, fue trabajador y dedicado a la familia, fue evidente, ya que pasó sus primeros años trabajando la tierras con sus padres, trabajando con el ganado y convirtiéndose en un experto en todos los oficios. Cuando llegó por primera vez a los Estados Unidos, la vida no fue fácil para él, pero su resiliencia y determinación para hacer un hogar y formar una familia en un nuevo país lo mantuvieron en pie. Luis era un hombre amable y bondadoso. También era admirado y respetado por todos los que lo conocían. Le encantaba recordar las muchas aventuras que había tenido en su vida y disfrutaba mucho conversar y reírse con las personas que conoció en el camino. Su tiempo en la tierra no fue lo suficientemente largo y muchos lo extrañarán mucho y lo recordarán constantemente. Luis siempre hizo de su familia su prioridad y su hermoso legado de bondad, amor y fortaleza será continuado por sus hijos, nietos, familiares y amigos. Fue muy amado y siempre estará en los corazones y pensamientos de los que le sobreviven. Su nuevo viaje comienza, esperamos el día en que podamos escuchar su voz y sonreír con él una vez más.
