She was born February 5, 1956, in Terre Haute, IN, to Thomas Preston and Nellie Sue (Donham) Trout. Lucinda was preceded in death by her Mother, and one brother Tommy Trout. Lucinda is survived by her father Thomas Preston Trout of Terre Haute, IN; her lifetime companion Harold Umphries of Estancia, NM; two sons Preston Phillips of Copperas Cove, TX and Arley Umphries and his wife Kristin of York, SC; two daughters Angela Phillips of Albuquerque, NM and Autumm Rose McLain and her husband Marvin of West Terre Haute IN; four sisters Joni Ditto, Saundra Trout, Connie Wilson and her husband Donnie, and Sally Trout-Joseph and her husband David; and a great number of nieces and nephews and their families; and five grandchildren Jamal D. Lucinda was a free soul who loved her grandchildren and family with every fiber of her being. She left this world doing one of the things she loved the most, which was riding her motorcycle. Lucinda loved her community where two of her children had graduated school. She had many lifetime friends in the Estancia Valley, she never met a stranger and worked many years at the Connection in Moriarty from when it opened to when it closed. Her favorite pass time was spending it with her life companion Harold, either riding motorcycles to visit the beauty she loved in New Mexico or sitting surrounded by her friends and children and grandchildren. She will be missed by many in and out of the community. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral services were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
