Louis "Louie" Henry Sena

Louis (Louie) Henry Sena was born in Clovis, NM on March 15th, 1950. He lived in Moriarty, NM and died in Tijeras, NM on October 26th, 2019 at 69 years old. Louie grew up in Clovis until he was 11 years old and moved to Santa Fe with his family. After school, Louie joined the Job Core and later joined the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served in the Vietnam War. He returned home to Santa Fe where he married and had two children, Annamarie and Jacob. Louie began his career as a police officer in 1973 in Espanola, NM.  In 1994 Louie married Wanda Martinez. Louie retired from law enforcement after 25 years. He then went onto truck driving school and worked for Moriarty Concrete. Louie loved spending time with his friends and family, ranching at his home in Moriarty, and causing trouble.   Louie Sena is survived by his wife Wanda Sena, his brothers Ermie, Daryl, Ronnie (Linda), and sisters Sandra Flaugher, Joise Lopez (George), Julia Solano, Cheryl Sena. He is also survived by his daughter Annamarie Sena-Ahmed (Dedrick), his son Jacob Sena, step children Michael Martinez, Jessica Martinez, and Eric Martinez, and very special daughter in-law Soraya Dareth. His surviving grandchildren include Aminah Ahmed, Idrees Ahmed, Amirah Ahmed, Maryam Ahmed, Khadijah Ahmed, Ibraheem Ahmed, Fatimah Ahmed, Zayd Ahmed, Aizen Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Angelisa Martinez, Adelina Martinez and great grandchild Leenah Merchant. He is also survived by his special friends, Allen and Sandy Brandon, Tom and Theresa Dennisson, and Mark and Sylvia Esparsen. Brother in laws, Adam Martinez and wife Karen, Sal Martinez and wife Marcella, Marical Martinez and wife Rosemary and Herman Alcares and sister in laws, Stephanie Vasquez and husband Ruben and Lena Martinez. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Pastor Paul Jaramillo will officiate. Pallbearers will be Idrees Ahmen, Ibraheem Ahmed, Jacob Sena, Mark Esparsen, Allen Brandon and Thomas Dennisson. Burial will be on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
