Lazarita Martinez

Lazarita Martinez, 79, passed away on March 24, 2020 in Moriarty, New Mexico. She was born on July 23, 1940 in San Rafael to the late Jose and Estolia (Padilla) Quinonez. Lazarita has lived here for 53 years and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Onecimo Martinez Sr.; daughter, Jeanette Martinez and grandson, “Buggy” Ramirez. Lazarita is survived and will forever be remembered by her sons, Onecimo Martinez Jr. (Tina Baca), David Martinez (Tonya Crocker), Johnny Martinez and Luciano Dominguez (Chandra) daughters, Joann Ramirez ( David Martinez), Lasarita Aguirre (Joe), Valerie Silva (Carlos), Elaine Martinez and Becky Mirabal; brothers, Joseph, Richard and Eddy and sisters, Louise, Patsy, Mildred and Joann. Lazarita was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren ad 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, New Mexico. Burial will take place at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Due to the restrictions for the state of New Mexico issued by the Governor for COVID-19, Funeral Services will be announced at a later date.
