Laura Agnes Parker

Laura Agnes Parker, 95 years young of Moriarty, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on October 13, 2018. Laura was born in Springer, NM on May 22, 1923. Laura was married to Monroe Parker on June 8, 1940 in Raton, NM. They were married for 56 years at the time his death. Laura spent her life loving and caring for her husband and family. She lived a simple, joyful life teaching all those who knew her the value of unconditional love. She was a longtime resident of New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Parker; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Laura is survived by son, Pat Parker and wife Dollie of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Cheryl Hodges and husband Jerry of Amarillo, TX and Debra Harris and husband Peter of Moriarty, NM; sister, Louise Perry of Beatrice, NE; brother, David Heck of Olathe, KS and grandchildren, Holly Hodges of Amarillo, TX, Lori St Jaques of Fairview, UT, Penni Jo Parker Smith of South Jordan, UT, Poppi Lovett of Amarillo, TX, Jami Hanson of Anchorage, AK, Emily Fauske of Amarillo, TX, Brady Parker of Gilbert, AZ, Roger Hodges of Belmont, NC, Chris Hodges of Amarillo, TX and Sam Harris of Moriarty, NM. Laura was blessed with 25 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moriarty Civic Center in Moriarty, New Mexico.
