Konrad Sauer

Konrad Sauer, 52, passed away on March 27, 2020 in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was born on January 5, 1968 in Rapid City, South Dakota. For those of you that did not know Konrad, he once was a member of the number 1 Hot Shot Crew in the nation, “Los Toros” Wildland Firefighters out of Mountainair, New Mexico in 1990. Konrad was also a talented guitar player and pencil artist. He was a very kind soul and friend. His smile would light up a room. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. May God care for and rest his soul. Konrad was a longtime resident of New Mexico and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Konrad is survived by his parents, Fritz and Sylvia Sauer; brothers, Durwin Sauer and wife Sharyl, Justin Sauer and wife Dawn and Brandon Sauer and wife Lena and very good friend and band leader, Flo Zamora. A Memorial Service will happen at a later date per the families wishes.
