Karen Kay Ibarra

Karen Kay Ibarra October 12th, 1952-May 12th, 2022 Karen Kay Ibarra, 69, of Moriarty, New Mexico, passed away May 12th, 2022. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edd Teston, Teresa Teston, George Zierdt, Lyssa Ibarra, and Perris Ibarra, two brothers Howard Ketchum and his wife Virginia Ketchum and their children Kathy and Terry, and Ken Ketchum and his son Eric Ketchum, grandchildren Logan Teston, Samuel Teston and Reagan Teston, Freyja Jackson, Isis Jackson, Luca Porras, Raine Burrows and Tir Beaver, along with uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends who were like family to her. Karen was born October 12th, 1952, in Ontario, California. She will be remembered as a great mother who had a knack for well organized camping trips, family vacations, and her dedication to the church was her legacy. Her involvement with the church included Vacation Bible School, Operation Christmas Child and working with children in Sunday School. Her devotion to God, the church, and her family had no bounds. Karen will be missed but forever in our hearts. There will be a Celebration of life on Saturday, May 28th, 2022, at 11:00 am to honor her. The celebration will be at The People Church/First Baptist Moriarty at 401 Irene Ave, Moriarty NM 87035.
