Justin Tylor Souza, 33, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, left us peacefully to be with our Lord, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Justin was born on May 25, 1987 in San Leandro, CA. Justin was a very loving son, father, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. He had a great sense of humor, love for his family, and was a devoted Raiders fan. He missed California, loved the ocean and longed to be back at the beach. Justin loved playing baseball with his little brother and being with his family. Music was a deep passion of his and he was a huge Ryan Caraveo fan. He had a mean streak in the Casino playing with 0’s and always gave the best hugs. Justin was born with so much love to give. As a little boy he enjoyed Ninja Turtles and Spiderman, just as any little boy would. He always told his mom that he had lots of Turtle Power!! His personality would light up the room. His smile was contagious, and his sense of humor was enlightening. Justin will be missed for his Grandpa Servie’s green eyes but also for the unconditional love he brought to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Justin is preceded in death by his Pop; Grandpa and Grandma Gonzales of La Madera; Grandma Trudy Preston; Grandpa and Grandma Light and Grandma Arah Elliot of Missouri. Justin is survived and will forever be remembered by his father, Keith Souza; mother and stepfather, Karen and Grant Preston; daughters, Evalina Barrett Souza and Majesta Souza; brothers, Jordin Souza and Gracin Preston; sister and brother in law, Ashley and Jeremy Lopez; stepsister, Megan Preston; grandparents, Nana Mary Light and Larry and Mary Preston; great grandmother, Joyce Preston; nieces, Aubri, Olivia, Scarlett and Yelana; nephews, Jeremiah, Chance, Payton and Wyatt as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and great uncles. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty New Mexico. The Viewing will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The Service will take place at 1:00 P.M., cremation will follow. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Ward, Shaun Patton, Jordin Souza, Jeremy Lopez, Shea St. Claire, Seth St. Claire, Sladen St. Clair, Matthew Austin Light, Audry Dassel, Nicholas Grant Light, Kassandra Light, Margaret “Goonze” Mares and Kathleen “Beans” Mares.
