Juanita Plant

Juanita Plant, aged 87, passed away November 15, 2023. Formally a long time resident of Moriarty,NM, she had been residing in Edgewood at The Bee Hive Homes of Edgewood. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack D. Plant, and her son David W. Plant both of Moriarty. She is survived by her daughter C. Sue Plant of Tijeras,NM and her sister Jean Thomas, husband Bob of Ventura, Ca. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and very special friends. Nita was born in Stanley,NM. Her family moved to Albuquerque when she was 2. She graduated from Albuquerque High in 1952. Jack and Nita owned Plant School Transportation, Inc for 37 years. The business served the Moriarty-Edgewood School District. Nita loved to travel and went on many cruises all over the world. She had a great outlook on life. She was also very generous, kind, and loving. She had many friends and will be greatly missed. There will be no services. Please support research on Dementia.
