Juan Pinson Santana

It is with extreme sadness we share the passing of Juan Santana of Albuquerque New Mexico. Juan P Santana born January 8th, 1937, in Union De Tula Jalisco Mexico to Jose Santana and Rosario Pinson. Juan is Preceded in death by his Wife Mary Santana, parents Rosario and Jose, his siblings Andres, Ramona, Maria, and Victoria. Sons Carlos Valdez and Frank Larry Valdez. Survived by daughter Elanor Sanchez and husband Gabriel Sanchez, Son Billy Valdez, and wife Ginger Valdez. Grandchildren who he raised Bernadette Valdez Gurule and husband David Gurule, Maria Griffin and husband Michael Griffin, David Valdez, and Sevilla Valdez. Several grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Juan was a fan of futbol his team was Chivas de Guadalajara He loved to keep himself busy with projects and loved making everyone happy. Pallbearers will be Marco Chavez, Gabriel Sanchez Jr, Marquis Valdez, David Gurule, Alexis Valdez, and Fernando Valdez. Honorary Pallbearers David Valdez, Michael Valdez, Rocky Sanchez, Gabriel Sanchez Sr, Billy Valdez, Michael Griffin, and Joseph Ybarra. Services will be Friday usband David April 14, 2023. Friday Viewing 10am, Service 11am held at La Luz Christian Church 6008 Avalon Rd NW Albuquerque NM 87105 Reception to follow VFW Post 13 American Legion Post 13 1201 Legion Rd NE Albuquerque NM 87102. Burial will be held Friday, April 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
