Joslyn Lauren Vigil

Joslyn Lauren Vigil was merely 34 years young when God received her into His arms on July 8, 2021. She was born on May 6, 1987 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Josyln was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and loved to be outdoors. In fact most days she would hop in her truck with her canine best friend Sonny Boy and go on some sort of adventure. Hiking, fishing it didn’t matter as long as she had the sun shining on her face and the outdoor air in her lungs. Josyln also loved spending time with two of her favorite people, her niece and nephew Johnna and Jason Vigil. She will be so deeply missed by her family and friends. Joslyn is preceded in death by her grandma, Adelaida “Della” (Henley) Vigil; grandpa, Jose I. Barela; uncles, Abran Barela and Earl Barela and cousin, Michelle Chavez. Joslyn is survived and forever remembered by her, grandma, Ernestina “Tina” Barela; grandpa, “Tata” John Leo Vigil Sr.; parents, Lawrence and Mary Lou (Barela) Vigil; life partner, Michelle Nevarez; brother, Justin Vigil and wife Lyndsie; niece and nephew, Johnna and Jason Vigil; canine best friend, Sonny Boy as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tijeras Baptist Church in Tijeras, New Mexico. Pastor Joh Torreson will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jessica, Juliana, Justine, Edward, Desiree, Janet, Johnna, Jason, Amy, Danielle, Brandie, Alicia, Brittany, Brittney, Kei, Michelle, Paulette, Michael John, Amanda, Danny and Uncle George.
