Jose R. Vargas Carrasco

Jose Rodolfo Vargas-Carrasco, 89, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away August 7, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM. Jose was born May 23, 1931, to Reynaldo & Enriqueta (Carrasco) Vargas in Chihuahua, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Annel Vargas. Jose is survived by six sons; Joel Vargas, Randy Vargas, Rene Vargas, Aldo Vargas, Rolando Vargas, and Noel Vargas. One daughter; Dora Ivet Vargas. One brother; Leonel Vargas and one sister Maria Vargas. A Rosary and viewing will be held Friday August 14, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday August 15, 2020 –10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Cremation will follow the Mass. Pallbearers will be Joel Vargas, Rene Vargas, Aldo Vargas, Noel Vargas, Armando Almeida, and James Vargas. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary.
