Jose R. Ramirez, 55, passed away on April 12, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 22, 1964 in Stanton, TX. He was self-employed as a General Contractor for the past 13 years. Jose was a man who possessed many great characteristics. He was loving, persistent, hardworking and funny just to name a few. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to go fishing. Jose was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. He will be most remembered for his unmistakable laugh and playful spirit. Jose is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Ramirez; son, Joe Rudy Ramirez; brother, Reyes Ramirez and sister, Francis Frausto. He is survived by his father, Reyes Ramirez; wife, Gloria Ramirez; daughters, Jessica Ramirez and husband Oscar Molinar, Justina Ramirez and Denise Ramirez; sons, Jorge Ramirez, Josiah Ramirez, Joel Ramirez and Joey Alijah Ramirez; step-sons, Roel and Noel Macias; sisters, Mary Rosas, Marylou Ramirez, Christina Ramirez and Ramona Rodriguez; brother, Ramero Ramirez; grandchildren, Max Molinar, J’Da Smith, Blake Edward Hoff, Vassili James Ramirez and Mikhail Jack Ramirez as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico. The Viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Juan Galindo, Jesse Ramon, Luis Olivas, J.P. Galindo, Ramero Ramirez and Isiah Ramirez.
