John Archie Lackey

John “Archie” Lackey, 80, passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 12, 2018. He was born on October 25, 1938 in Cedarvale, NM. Archie was a longtime resident of NM, a member of the First Baptist Church of Corona and was a software engineer for Sandia Labs. He served his country proud in the United States Air National Guard. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Archie is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Grace (Humpries) Lackey; brother, Daniel Lackey; son in law, Kerry Chadwick; son Scott Lackey and daughter, Susan Lackey. Archie is survived by his beloved wife Lanee Lackey of Cedarvale, NM; sons, Samuel Lackey and wife Janine of Virginia Beach, VA and Matthew Lackey and wife Marlo of Rogers, AR; daughter, Deanna Chadwick of Albuquerque, NM and brothers, Wesley Lackey, Norman Lackey, Roland Lackey and James Lackey. Archie was blessed with 8 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Corona in Corona, NM. Pastor Cal West will Officiate.
