John Ernest Tracey

John Ernest Tracey, 85, passed away on July 5, 2018 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was born on September 21, 1932 in Corona, New Mexico to the late Marshall and Pearl (Roper) Tracey. John was a lifetime resident of Corona New Mexico. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for Corona, a member of the Corona School Board and a Lineman with the Central New Mexico Electric Co-Op for 28 years. John is survived by his son, Mike Tracey and wife Joan of Animas, New Mexico; daughter, Kay Kent and husband Larry of Corrales, New Mexico; grandchildren, Nathan Tracey, Russell McKibben, Tracey Kent and Tammy Kent and 7 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Corona Presbyterian Church. The viewing will be at 10:00 A.M. and the service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Mel Gnatkowski will officiate. Interment will be at the Corona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Tracey, Russell McKibben, Tracey Kent, Clint Lee Roper, J.T. Roper and David Craig. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his friends and family, Cotton Yancey, Rand Perkins and Gilbert Stewart.
