Joe Tim Williams

Joe Tim Williams went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2018. Joe was born to Eldon Roy Williams Sr. and Mary Jane (Winn) Williams on August 16, 1948. Joe Tim graduated from Moriarty High School in 1966 and then attended Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas. Joe Tim was then drafted into the United States Army and served from 1970-1972. After serving his country, Joe Tim had a pumping business in Moriarty and helped his father with the family ranching. He married Alice Williams and they had a son John Williams. In October 1978, Joe Tim bought his first livestock truck and that was his livelihood for 40 years. He loved driving his livestock truck all over the state of New Mexico and Texas! He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. and Mary J. Williams and his brother Roy Eldon Williams Jr. He is survived by his wife, Alice and son’s John and Ira Williams of Loving, NM and his sister Nixie (Williams) Clark and husband Phil of Edgewood, NM and grandchildren and many niece and nephews. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM at 10:00 A.M.
