Joan Maude Saline

Joan Maude Saline, 97, passed away on October 1, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on August 23, 1922 in Calcutta, India to the late Claude and Louisa (De’Souza) Regel. Joan was a longtime resident of NM and the oldest attending member of the Moriarty Lions Club Bingo. She was also a member of the Extension Club and the Valley View Christian Fellowship Church in Edgewood, NM. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Saline Sr.; son, Robert Saline; brothers, Eric Regel and Leslie Regel and sisters, Betty Prescott and Rita Webster. Joan is survived by her sons, William C. Saline and wife Glenda of Moriarty, NM and Kenneth R. Saline and wife Janet of Phoenix, Az. Joan was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandbaby on the way. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Valley View Christian Fellowship in Edgewood, NM. Pastor Jim Beukelman will officiate.
