Mrs. Jennie Lee Frohn, age 89, of Edgewood, passed away Wednesday morning, June 23, 2021, in Houghton, MI. She was born Juana Librada Romero on May 3, 1932, in Aguilar, CO, daughter and seventh child of the late Frank and Julianita Romero. Jennie lived in Colorado until she met and 30 days later married the man of her dreams, Lloyd Frohn in 1950. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lloyd; son, Robert and daughter, Virginia. Mom was wonderfully devoted to her 5 children, Virginia (husband Rick), Thomas (wife Nancy), Robert, Cynthia (husband Craig), and James (fiancé Barbara). She is survived by 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and older brother Don Romero, 99 of Colorado Springs, CO. She was a loving Grandmother to Thomas, Kirsta, Dustin, Nina, Crystal and Cody. Mom was overjoyed to welcome 11 great-grandchildren during her life. Our mother was a busy Air Force wife, spending her days raising children and traveling overseas. Mom always wanted to travel and felt thankful life allowed her to see much of Europe and the United States. Even with her travels, she loved nothing more than seeing her Rocky Mountains welcome her home. Mom was a sweet, gentle spirit who never wanted to ‘be a bother’. We are blessed to know that Mom has found her eternal home in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at Moriarty church of Christ with John Booth officiating. Pall bearers will be James Frohn, Craig Sadberry, Dustin Sadberry, Cody Frohn, Danny Stone, Jeff Stone and Boe Davis. Jennie will be buried with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
